News Happenings & Updates - Engard Real Estate Co.
Updated March 2010

February 19, 2010 - Susan Jacobsen, assisted by B.J. Engard and M.C. Strong, prepared an Italian feast at Rod & B.J. 's home at Myrtle Island. Rod, David Strong, and Dean Jacobsen enjoyed culinary treats from the cookbook, Jamie's Italy written by the Food Network star, Jamie Oliver.

After toasting with a pink prosecco, the courses began with antipasti of crostini with olives & tomatoes, joined by funghi tagliati con mozzarella fusa e timo (mushrooms with mozzarella thyme).

With our appetites whetted, we enjoyed a primi course of la mia ribollita preferita - soup with cannellini beans and kale-yum! M.C.'s insalate was crisp and soon we were tucking into linguine alla carbonara disalsiccia (linguine with sausage and pancetta) with a wonderful Chianti Classico.

As we awaited the coffee to perk, Susan served semifreddo con cioccolato e riso - a chocolate and rice semifreddo. Can't wait for the next international dinner with friends!
